Its multiple functions are based on the availability of a variety of treatment heads/hand pieces, most of which are glass tipped to increase the surface area for treatment. The energy delivery technology is also patented to ensure comfort during the treatment. Small doses of RF energy are stacked in quick succession (Superpulse RF technology) ensuring delivery deep into the dermis where the collagen is located without excessive heating of the epidermis, which has a target temperature of just 39 degrees Celcius.
