Easy TCA Peel

This is a highly effective medium peel that is well tolerated by the skin. It is applied in 4 weekly sessions. There is little downtime and you can carry on with your normal activities.

This versatile chemical peel can be used for the following conditions:

• Rejuvenation: erase fine lines, lifting
• Sun Damage: solar lentigo, solar keratoses
• Pigmentation: Melasma, Post-Acne Pigmentation
• Acute Acne

Procedure

Standard protocol involves the application of up to 3 coats of the solution with cotton buds. We are looking for the appearance of little frosting spots to show that the peel has reached an adequate depth.

When the peel is being applied, you will feel some tingling which is tolerable, particularly when cool air is blown at the same time.

Once the frosting appears, we apply a post-peel mask which is unique to this particular peel. This mask is full of substances that protect your skin from excessive inflammation and stimulate rapid recovery. The stinging sensation from the chemicals will stop once the cream is applied.

This cream should be left on till the next morning.

Recovery

1. Do not wash face until the next morning

2. Apply the Skin Tech treatment creams as prescribed.

3. Moisturise well and frequently, especially during the flaking phase

4. Use adequate sun protection

5. Flaking will start from the second day after the peel. It generally starts around the mouth area and spreads outwards towards the hairline

6. Do not pick at the flaking skin. Moisturise well instead.

Skin texture is finer, pores are smaller, there is a healthy glow. The large lentigo (oval brown spot on the cheek) has disappeared, as has the smaller areas of sun damage/pigmentation..

The complexion is clearer, with a healthy glow. The naso-labial folds are less deep, the marionette lines are virtually gone, the jowls are less saggy. The wrinkles are less obvious.

The combination of Easy TCA Peel with Botox has resulted in the elimination of the glabella frown lines.

The superficial pigmentation spots are lighter.
