Results of Dermaroller Treatment
Acne Scar Reduction
Acne scars are one of the
most difficult dermatological problems to treat.
Ranging from uneven skin surface to deep ice
pick depressions, acne scars are often located
at the cheek areas, hence are easily noticeable
and difficult to conceal.
The options for treatment
have included laser resurfacing (very effective
but associated with prolonged downtime),
subcision (releases the fibrous bands, but
results are limited) and microdermabrasion
(scars appear less deep).
Collagen induction therapy is
a new treatment option for people who wish to
dramatically reduce acne scarring with minimal
downtime. We have been pleasantly surprised at
the results we've seen just after one treatment.
Before &
After Dermaroller Therapy

Before Treatment: Note
the multiple scars all over the cheek area,
particularly the large one in the middle of the
photographed area.

6 weeks after First Treatment:
the scars are much less obvious, with the large
central scar barely perceptible.
